The year 2024 has been an exciting time for software developers. Python’s GIL was removed, AI has become a core part of daily workflows, and quantum computing is advancing at a breakneck pace. While I thought I was doing things correct, there seems to be room for improvement. In 2025, my core focus lies in clarity and simplicity. With those to priorities, I’m expecting to achieve better productivity. Python remains my primary programming language, complemented by various database management systems tailored to specific needs. To avoid unnecessary complexity, I’m streamlining my toolset and optimizing my workspace for comfort and efficiency. To achieve this, I’ve explored countless YouTube videos and articles.
For mobile work, I primarily use a MacBook. My desktop setup includes a Windows 11 PC with three monitors of varying sizes and resolutions. To create a cleaner and more practical workspace, I’m considering reducing the number of monitors to two and repositioning them for better ergonomics.
